Trophy Wives / Lions Lions Tour Blog - Van Nuys, CA

It’s safe to say I woke up the next morning on the struggle bus. Hungover and a day on the hot bright beach did not sound like the best of plans to me, but I sucked it up and boy was it worth it! Huntington Beach was awesome. We all ran and dove into the freezing cold water and that woke me up. It was like a cool little team-building exercise. Go Trophy team!! After that we walked down the pier to the end and all got milkshakes. We explored the surf and clothing shops around the town and I hid my credit card from myself. The boys rocked the White Oak Music Hall that night and I got to see some friends who I didn’t even know were in LA. Its wonderful how small of a world the music industry really is. Make friends kids, make friends!

Enjoy!

Trophy Wives / Lions Lions Tour Blog - San Diego, CA

San Diego.....founded by the Germans. Spanish for a whale's vagina. California is beautiful! We were supposed to play a show at a place called Woody’s Burgers, until the sound guy decided to not do his job, called out and went to a Brand New show instead of working. Impromptu day off! We did not complain and headed right for the waterfront. The Gaslamp District was awesome, so many little cool bars and eaterys. After a few beers and shots we ended up at a place called “New Yorker Pizza” of course. I drove cross-country to eat food styled after where I came from…. At least the bourbon was on point! Somehow on our stumbles back we came across the bar where the “sleezy scene” in Top Gun was filmed. I tried to request Highway to the Danger Zone be played but they weren’t having it. Finally we ended up at the house of one of the local bands we were supposed to play with. They hooked it up with shots of Patron and Pizza, and then a very drunken podcast happened. Glad to know my brain has become hardwired to know camera settings and take a decent photo during a night like that!

Enjoy!

Trophy Wives / Lions Lions Tour Blog - Scottsdale, AZ

Scottsdale set it off! We started the day off by going to a stunning national park and having a cookout and chasing lizards. The boys got naked and ran around in the desert and I took pictures of that. After avoiding heat stroke we drove to the venue and Pup Rock did not let us down. The venue had a sick stage and a real dressing room. Some old friends of Chris’s showed up and we all chilled. All in all a solid night!

Trophy Wives / Lions Lions Tour Blog - Tuscon, AZ

Two blog posts in one day!?! All five of you who read this shit are in for a treat. I finally found the Wi-Fi Mecca. Arizona is hot, like balls hot. We woke up sweating in the Wal-Mart parking lot and continued the tradition of having a cookout. Little did I know I would end up consuming 4 hamburgers by the end of the day. After we rocked "The Rock" club we caught up with the homies in Echoes and got some In-N-Out for a midnight snack.  Milk was a bad choice.

"Yay Mom brought home groceries"

It was great chilling with the dudes in Echoes

Trophy Wives / Lions Lions Tour Blog - El Paso, TX

After driving what seemed like forever from Austin we finally pulled up to a truck-stop somewhere near El Paso. Just as we were all about to rest our heads the sun started to come up over the horizon so I decided to stay up a little longer, grabbed my camera and hoped that the sunrise wouldn’t disappoint. Safe to say it was worth the extra time. After sleeping for a few hours we trucked on to the venue. El Paso had a solid turnout and everybody put on a solid show.
